About LGI
Since 2020, building Nigeria's most credible youth platform.
LGI is a non-partisan, non-profit youth organization dedicated to transforming creativity, energy, and aspiration into sustainable community impact. We cultivate youth interest in governance, social inclusion, and democratic participation through structured programs that develop the next generation of accountable leaders.
Our reach spans all 36 states and the FCT, organized into 12 zonal heads, 74 state coordinators, and a network of local-government and ward focal points, backed by over 13,000 registered members and an extended audience of 2.7 million young Nigerians.
Beyond numbers, more than 1,000 of our trainees have transitioned from members into policy influencers and analysts, political aspirants and appointees, thought leaders, and public servants — shaping decisions across Nigeria’s civic and governance landscape.
